Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy is a specialised area of physiotherapy treating injuries and conditions that affect the muscles, joints, and soft tissues. Musculoskeletal Physiotherapists have been trained in a wider range of treatment techniques and will have a Masters of Physiotherapy qualification. They are world-leaders in the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of spinal conditions that commonly cause lower back, neck and muscle and joint problems.

Being a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist, Mark Day’s education includes degrees from the University of Sydney, the University of NSW and a Masters Degree from the University of QLD. Parts of the Masters Degree program require that candidates work in both The Joint Stability Clinic which is at the Mater Hospital in Brisbane and the Whiplash and Associated Disorders Clinic at the University of Queensland.

Coolangatta Physiotherapy follows the protocols of both clinics’ assessments and advanced programs for back pain and neck pain.
As Mark Day’s practice is situated on the beautiful holiday destination of the Gold Coast, he has not only served the Gold Coast and Tweed areas for over twenty years but many interstate and international visitors.
